New LED lighting installation

Dear all, I'm pleased to inform you that the next step of our modernisation plan is taking place with the installation of new LED lights in the squash courts. This work will start Monday 8th August and finish Friday ie one court per day will be out of action. However it is possible the installer will finish the court installation more quickly start on a new court that same day! Should this happen I would appreciate your cooperation by playing on the court that was scheduled to be out of action that day! Expected benefits for the club and players are: 1) 45% energy saving against fluorescent 2) Zero maintenance, no need to relamp 3) 5 year warranty parts and labour 4) Even light distribution on walls and ceilings 5) LEDs do not deteroriate over their life, unlike fluorescents (go yellow / brightness diminishes) 6) New lighting will be brighter than old lighting This is a significant investment by both your club and the section through its fund raising activities.
