North West Counties Squash League - Final Week - Thursday 4th April

Good Morning Folks!

It's the final week of the NWCSL (apart from the Play-Offs - more on that later) and tomorrow night, our 3rd Team are at home against Cheshire Officers 2nds in what is a do-or-die fight against relegation! Here's the story - we are 10 points behind Winsford 1 who play Neston 2 - so to avoid the drop, we need to win big, whilst Winsford need to lose big!

It's gonna be tight - So if ever the guys needed your support - it is tomorrow night!

The 4th Team are also in a last ditch battle, this time for promotion from Division 4 NW - they're away to Liverpool Uni Staff and are just 6 points behind 2nd place Warrington 5, who are away to Widnes RUFC 1 - COME ON YOU 4THS !!

The 2nd Team are away to Bridgefield 2 and the 6th Team are away to Warrington 6 - both are safe in their respective divisions and good luck to them. The 1sts and 5ths are all done!

3rd Division Play-Offs

It's very pleasing to report that our 1st Team are Division 3 NW Champions (by a healthy 49 points) - Hurrah! Fantastic effort and well done to them!

They now move on to the Division 3 Play-Offs with the 1st Round scheduled for Thursday 11th April against Barnton CC 1 - Venue: Northern Crosby .... If they come through that, there is a 2nd round on the 18th April , with the winners of that progessing to the Grand Final at the Etihad Statium on the 11th May , so please put these dates in your diaries.

It's been a fabulous season and as always, your vocal support always makes a massive difference, so please come on down tomorrow night and support the 3rds in their endeavours.

The battle commences at 7pm.
